 It is said that inner beauty is what that last forever but there are some women who are on the way to alter the saying as they are still carrying their charm in the age of 30s and 40s.


Bollywood industry is full of evergreen and some of the world’s most beautiful women who have crossed their 40s. Whether you call it make up or natural beauty they have just proved that age is just a number nothing else. Check the below list:


Madhuri Dixit:


Actress with flawless beauty, running in her 40s, Madhuri Dixit is best known for her work, beauty and dancing prowess in Bollywood. She made her debut with Abodh in 1984 but got recognition after starring in Tezaab in 1988. She is often referred as “Dhak Dhak Girl” because of her dance. Pandit Birju Maharaj, a renowned Kathak dancer calls her as "the best Bollywood dancer due to her versatility."


Not just dance and movies, she is also known for her appearance on TV as the judge of dancing reality show. She keeps donating for charity as she donated 5crore that she won in Kaun Banega Karodpati. She is also a Goodwill Ambassador and a patron for "Emeralds for Elephants" a charity project for the conservation of Asian Elephants and other endangered species.


Sushmita Sen:


Miss world 1994, Sushmita Sen is the first Indian model to become a Miss Universe. She is not only famous for her beauty but also for her confident, fearless and passionate attitude.


After she became Miss Universe, she started her Bollywood career with the movie Dastak in 1996 and later, she attained commercial and critical recognition for her roles in Sirf Tum (1999) and the comedy Biwi No.1 (1999).


Her last movie was No Problem (2010) and she has three movies lined up to release in 2014. Running in her 30s, she is one of the topmost celebrities and a successful single mother of two adopted children.

Rekha:


Noted for her versatility and acknowledged as one of the finest actresses in Bollywood, Bhanurekha Ganesan, better known by her stage name Rekha is one of the 90s actresses who changed the definition of old age. Always seen with bright red lip color and shiny kanjivaram saress, she looks stunning and perfectly carrying her.


She started her acting career in 1966 and acted in Telugu, Kannada and Hindi movies and debut in Bollywood with the movie Anjana Safar. She acted in over 180 movies in her 40 years of acting career and in 2010 she was honored with Padma Shri by the Indian government.


Rekha followed the footsteps of her parents as her father was a Tamil actor and mother was a Telugu actress. She is been nominated for the Member of Parliament recently for her perfectionism in her profession.


At this age, after three long decades in film industry, Rekha remains a glamour icon for the dressmaking cognoscenti.


Sridevi Kapoor:


Running in her 50s, Sridevi Kapoor also known as ‘Miss HawaHawai’ started her acting career as a child artist at the age of four and continued acting in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films.  Subsequently, Sridevi established herself as one of the leading actresses of Tamil and Telugu cinema.


She entered Bollywood with the movie Julie in 1975 as a child artist and marked her debut as a lead actress in Solva Sawan back 1978. Later she worked till 1997 and made a comeback in 2012 with English Vinglish after 15 years and also became the only actress with highly successful comeback in Bollywood history.


In 2013, she was awarded with Padam Srhi and also as the 'India's Greatest Actress in 100 Years' in a CNN-IBN national poll conducted in 2013 on the occasion of the Centenary of Indian Cinema.


Recently she walked in the India International Jewellery Week.





Aishwarya Rai Bachchan:


Entitled as one of the most beautiful women in the world, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was the first runner up of Miss India and the winner of Miss World in 1994. She has established herself as a leading contemporary actress of Indian cinema after she made her acting debut with a Tamil movie in the 1997.


Running in her 40s she has become one of the most admired and revered women in India as well as in the world. Media has described her as dignified, statuesque, beautiful and charismatic person.

An Indian actress, dancer, model, Video Jockey and TV presenter, Malaika Arora Khan is running in her 40s. She started her career as a model and later worked with MTV as VJ.
