21 Unique Bars You'll Want to Visit
Coming home from work, you’ll sometimes stop at your favorite local bar or pub and have a beer (or two). But even though everybody knows your name and just how you like your drink, you might want to visit these 21 extraordinary bars!
1. The Northern Lights bar, Iceland
Aptly named, this bar is part of the ION Hotel, which is located about an hour's drive from Reykjavík (Iceland's capital). You can grab a drink, look up at the sky and enjoy nature's original light-show.
2. The Chill Ice, Quebec City, Canada
Sculpted entirely out of ice, the bar actually melts every summer and rebuilt come winter time. They serve refreshingly cold drinks here, but you should probably wear something warm before you come in...
3. The Rock Bar, Bali, Indonesia
The bar, part of the Ayana Resort, offers its patrons a 360 degree view of the Indian ocean, the beach and cliffs. I'd strongly recommend visiting it during twilight, when the view becomes spectacular!
4. Ozone Bar, Hong Kong, China
Located at the 118th floor of Hong Kong's International Commerce Center, Ozone is the highest bar in the world. (Booking a table in advance is highly recommended)

9. Alux Caverna Lounge, Mexico
Within the depths of a naturally formed cavern, part of an 18,000 years old cave system, hides the Alux Caverna Lounge. The place is lit by candles which give the natural stalactites an even more powerful look.
10. Safe House, Milwaukee, Wisconsin
Enter the elusive red door and you'll find yourself in a fantastic, spy-themed bar. Oh, and you'll need to know the password to get in, no kidding...
11. Tiger Leaping Gorge Bar, China
Getting to this bar is a journey all of its own. A 2-day trek along the Tiger Leaping Gorge (don't worry, the path is marked), reaching the bar is its own reward. If that's not enough, it offers spectacular views and wonderful food and drinks.
12. Sunland Pub, South Africa
Tucked inside a 6000 year-old Baobab tree (!), the Sunland Pub was built into the tree's hollow trunk in 1933. Due to limited space, the place can only house 15 people at a time.
13. Sky Bar, Bangkok, Thailand
Boasting the title of the "world's highest open air bar", the Sky Bar sits on the roof of the Lueba Tower, some 820ft (250m) high, and was featured in the movie "The Hangover II". You can try their signature "Hangovertini" and enjoy the Bangkok lights.
14. Club 33, Disneyland, California
That's right, Club 33 is located in Disneyland, offering tired and worn-out parents some "grown-up time", and is the ONLY place in Disneyland that offers alcohol. The only drawback - it's a members-only, and the waiting list is literally years-long...

Offering haute cuisine and a panoramic view of Moscow, it is the brainchild of Boris Zarkov and the home-restaurant of celebrity chef Vladimir Muhin.

The Bab Al Shams Desert Resort and Spa has an amazing open-air bar, with a perfect view of the endless Arabian desert. (And don't worry, they serve alcohol!)

In the city of Reykjavik, there is a bar that is also a cafe, a laundromat and a library (The original was opened in Copenhagen, Denmark). So bring your laundry, pick up a book and have a drink while you wait...

If you wondered what it would be like to live in a "Steampunk" world (or just wanted a drink in a weird place) - the Joben is perfect! Inspired in part by the stories of Jules Verne, you'll feel like you're in a whole different world in this bar...
